Sunflowers

Day 7: we were a bit apprehensive about today - the first with our big packs, and with a severe weather warning. In fact we did almost all the walk in sunshine, through varied rolling countryside, and the main downpour waited until we were indoors enjoying excellent hospitality from Angela. As we were thinking about lunch, miraculously a picnic table appeared, with a nice view of the Stratford Canal. As we walked through Henley-in-Arden we were feeling warm, and a medieval building containing an ice cream shop duly appeared. We walked through woods and fields of many kinds, but perhaps our favourite was this field of sunflowers.
