Heigh ho, the wind and the rain

Day 5 brought us very different weather - not much wind, but lots of rain, turning the clay of the Stour valley to glue and making our boots twice the size. Meanwhile Sandra and Sarah gate-crashed a wedding and had a long conversation with a zebra. The boys pushed on through the mud and the sheep dung to reach a beautiful Georgian Gothic church in Preston-on-Stour, and then on to Stratford where we celebrated the end of Week 1 in front of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
