Are we out of the woods yet?

Day 38 took us further up Annandale to Beattock, whence we will get onto the Southern Uplands tomorrow. The walk was similar in length to yesterday's, but easier due to much better maintained paths - the nettles could only watch from the sidelines and did not impede our progress. A good deal of it was spent in the forest - there were a few fallen trees to clamber over for old time's sake.
We had some apprehension about the static caravan which was our planned accommodation for tonight. We came across one along the way (pictured) but fortunately that turned out not to be it. The one in which we are actually staying is very well appointed, if a bit excessively bee-themed (see gallery).
Track of the Day is Taylor Swift's "Out of the woods" whose chorus asks the question which was on our lips for much of the day: are we out of the woods yet? Having looked at the map of tomorrow's route, the answer is No.
