All at sea

Day 48: this is the day when it all unravelled. Our plan was to travel by ferry from the isle of Arran to the Kintyre peninsula and catch another ferry from there to Islay. The walkers would then begin the last stage of our walk, and arrive at Saligo tomorrow, while the support crew would bring cars, luggage, shopping etc.
To avoid rewriting War and Peace, I will spare you the full catalogue of circumstances that intervened, but due to weather and ferry issues, only five of the nine of us, and none of the cars, made it to Islay today. The rest did eventually get off Arran and are now glamping in a holiday park near Tarbert, hoping that the sea will have subsided and/or the ferry been mended enough to get them to Islay tomorrow.
No walking was done except a lot of pacing up and down as we tried to plot the next move. The picture shows the approach to Port Askaig on Islay (I missed taking pictures of the wildest part of the crossing, for fear of seasickness). And I think our Track of the Day has to be the Sea Interlude from Peter Grimes that depicts a storm.
