The first bag off the rank

24 June: three weeks until we set out on our Miles to Malts adventure. Excitement is building, and the first piece of luggage has already left Brokenwood, courtesy of Lucy and Dave, who will doubtless be glad that I will have some clean clothes to put on when I arrive at their house after a week of backpacking.

I’m not sure Jevin the dog has quite got the excitement yet.
